Pre Conference Activities

This year we have several new additions to the conference. We hope you arrive early enough to check them out.

Tours to be held 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm - Friday, February 6, 2026


Meet with Jimmy Greene from the Saginaw Spirit and Azurah Karl with the DoubleTree to talk about sports marketing and hospitality. You will get a tour of the Double Tree as well.


Entrepreneurship and Marketing Tour at the Masonic Temple. Learn more about this historical building and how the new owners plan to use and market the building.


Delta Planetarium Show 3:30 pm - Friday 6, 2026

With your conference badge you can be admitted for free to the 3:30 pm show at the Delta Planetarium just across the street from the hotel. This is approximately 1 hour long.

Building blankets for local shelter this activity is immediately following the opening session and you are required to attend.


Saturday Activities


Pitch Your Idea Contest


Full details are available here and through your advisor. You will present your idea from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm as time allows. You will need to sign up for a time slot outside the room assigned.


Learn how AI can Assist you in the Future


Two sessions will be offered for this speaker. At 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm in the Wheeler Room.

Delta Planetarium Show 3:30 pm - Saturday 7, 2026


With your conference badge you can be admitted for $5 to the 3:30 pm show at the Delta Planetarium just across the street from the hotel. This is approximately 1 hour long.


DECA Downs - Social Event - 8:30  - 10:30 pm

This event is required and will be held at the State Theatre in downtown Bay City. This is a blended activity of horse racing and comedy. Win raffle tickets to win prizes.
